HOW DO DRIVERS WORK?
So what are drivers, and what are they required for? I'll do my best to explain it as simple as possible by giving examples adn without going to deep into special terms.
Drivers are mediators between the operating system, windows and the devices on your computer such as sound card, for instance. The computer consists of a greta quantity of various devices, and to get the OS to understand how to interact with all these devices, and equipmant developers compose specil programs. \these are exactly what we call "DRIVERS".
Such program explain the OS which properties each specific device ha and how i can be used. At the same time, due to the drivers, the OS gets possibility to manage this devices. For e.g the printer drivers explain the printer in which way it should print out this or that document.
A driver provides a software interface to hardware devices, enabling operating systems and other computer programs to access hardware functions without needing to know precise details about the hardware being used. ... When a calling program invokes a routine in the driver, the driver issues commands to the device
In other words, a driver is a program which is an inerpreter between the OS and a specific devices.
The infomation on what drivers are installed in your OS is located in the section titled as 'Device Manager'. It is usually the same place where an error status is demonstrated when an inapproproate driver is installe, or when a device is not recognized by the system.
Driver pack colects all driver versions from their producers into the integrated database and helps install all drivers that your computer requires by one click.
I do hope I have explained it clear enough.
